Breast Revision for Grade III Capsular Contracture – Implant Exchange with Mastopexy*

This patient had 15-year-old 450cc saline breast implants and developed a grade III capsular contracture on the left side that caused visible distortion and discomfort. Dr. Erick Sanchez replaced the old saline implants with new 500cc silicone breast implants to improve fullness and symmetry. He also removed the tight fibrous capsule and performed a mastopexy to correct a waterfall deformity and enhance breast shape, projection, and nipple position. These photos show the results 4 months after surgery. Scars will continue to fade with time.
